Rainbow offers a great opportunity for secondary school students over the age of 15 to get involved in their community. If you or someone you know is looking for a fantastic experience, we believe Rainbow is the place.

There are a variety of different levels at which you can participate as a volunteer at Rainbow including helping out with the camp activities, lunch duties and the swimming program, or on our volunteer Board of Directors, overseeing camp operations year round.
Volunteering at camp is a great way to gain valuable
work experience. Our most successful volunteers
often return in future years to Rainbow as a valuable
member of our summer staff. Volunteering on our
Board of Directors gives you the opportunity to
support this great organization, provide your valuable
input at the planning stages year to year, and
ensure the best quality program is available for
all children and youth.
Interested summer volunteers should review the job description available and forward
the attached volunteer application to our Camp Director after May 1st. for
consideration (Applications can either be emailed
to info@rainbowdaycamp.com or
mailed to Rainbow Day Camp, 304 Stone Rd. W., Ste. 337
, GUELPH, ON N1G 4W4).
Candidates will contacted for an interview and those selected will be required to attend an orientation session in late June.
Note: Candidates will be required to provide two adult references at interview time.

Board meetings are held bi-monthly with ad-hoc committee meetings held as required and may include Personnel, Finance, Fundraising, Public Relations & Marketing, and Program.
