Volunteering at Rainbow is an opportunity to gain valuable work experience. Our most successful volunteers return in future years as valuable members of our staff team.

Rainbow invites high school students in Guelph and the surrounding area to get involved. If you or someone you know is looking for a fantastic experience, Rainbow is the place!

In order to be eligible to volunteer at Rainbow, you must have completed grade 9. Those in grade 8 who have completed 2 years of the LIT program at Rainbow may also be eligible.

We require a minimum of one full week commitment of our volunteers to ensure consistency for our campers and so that volunteers earn the required 40 hours to graduate with an OSSD.

Interested?  The application form will be available here and ensure you can attend the mandatory voluntary training dates.

Responsibilities for volunteers include (but are not limited to): helping staff run daily activities, lunch duties, administrative tasks, and water play activities.

Please provide two relevant adult references (ex. a coach, pastor, teacher, etc.) who can tell us about how you work as part of a team, how you work with children, etc.

The Volunteer Coordinator will contact qualified applicants for a phone interview in the spring and successful candidates will be invited to attend a mandatory orientation and training session on either June 24th or July 22nd online.

Volunteer with us!

Applications for Summer 2024 will be available early May - In the meantime contact rainbowdaycamp@gmail.com
