We value diversity and never look for just one "type" of person. Since we welcome many different kids at camp, we aim to hire a wide variety of people. Some of our counsellors are artistic, while others can’t draw a stick figure. Some are outgoing and loud, while others are more reserved. We have extroverts, introverts, tall people, short people, musicians, and non-musicians!

What unites all Rainbow counsellors, however, is a shared love for working with children and a commitment to making camp a safe, welcoming, and magical space for everyone. We look for people who thrive in a team environment and believe in achieving greatness through collaboration. Rainbow counsellors are fun, willing to laugh at themselves, love being outdoors, aren't afraid to act silly, are responsible, enjoy being around children, and are eager to have an unforgettable summer!

Staff must have CPR "C" certification before camp begins. HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development is an asset and Rainbow will provide the training before camp.
